Visit to Norton Motorcycles

Norton has been involved in the design and manufacture of bikes since 1898. After going through a lot of changes Norton moved to its current home at Donnington Park in 2008. When we heard the Institute of Mechanical Engineers was organising a factory visit last January we knew we couldn’t miss it. On the visit we were informed of the Norton history and shown around their stores, assembly line and fabrication facilities. We ended the tour with inspiration and an increased appreciation for Norton Motorcycles. Visit their website and it is well worth a factory tour.
