Look around you, everything you see and use has been engineered in one way or another, either by nature or by you. We all like to find ways to make things easier and quicker, therefore we currently have an engineering challenge, whichever way you look at it. Design Engineers may seem to have a general 5 days a week 9 to 5 job, yes it is mostly Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, however engineering and problem solving never stops. Every day we naturally use our senses to gain knowledge and experiences from our surroundings. As Design Engineers we chose a career to challenge, create and to improve just about anything around us. Here at Bennett Engineering we fortunate from our past experiences as this provides us the ability to provide innovative and the right solution for you.
As Design Engineers we may have a natural interest and the urge to understand how things work and why things work. This is why we always seem to find a reason or a hobby where we build or take something apart, upgrade it or just to keep our hands busy.
The challenges as a Design Engineer are that we are limited by our own knowledge and experiences. It is vital in my opinion to work as part of a team and to meet as many people as possible, not only engineers, as you never know when or where the next great idea will come from. This also keeps us in touch with technology and finding out about other people’s experiences and opinions allowing us to grow our knowledge.
