Easy to use C-clamp solution

A simple push connection which turns around and simply locks (and unlocks)

No need to apply excessive force and easy to replace the existing connections with the new

A huge issue with forceful application of a clamp needed to be removed quickly.

When something is far easier to use in the middle of an operation it will completely remove the hassle.
With an oxygenator reservoir the connections that were part of the original assembly needed force to ensure they were fully secured. This could result in the bucket dislodged when that force was applied which the clamping units prevented.

By looking at the usability of the clamps it was possible to make the clamping a one handed, easy to do activity with some redesign work.
