SolidWorks 2017 Launch Event

Craig and Irene attended this year’s SolidWorks 2017 Launch Event in Warwickshire held by SolidSolutions. The event presented what is new in SolidWorks 2017. It provided the opportunity to keep up to date with the latest software and develop a more in depth knowledge with tips & tricks. The main speakers this year were Gian Paolo Bassi, CEO of Solidworks, who talked about the future of the Solidworks platform and where the company is heading. The second was Derek Redmon, a British Gold Medal Olympian, who shared a fantastic story of overcoming adversity and innovation.

There were opportunities to network with other companies and test our skills on the FEA competition. We’d like to thank SolidSolutions for their fantastic work organising the event, we are looking forward for updating to the 2017 version.
